How Long Should Vapes Last?

Before we talk about why vapes can sometimes run out quickly, it's important to manage your expectations. Vape pens aren't built to live forever. Disposables will be ready for the bin after a set number of puffs, and refillables will (like any electronic device) require maintenance and TLC otherwise will break and need replacing too quickly. If you are using a disposable vape pen, then you can expect it to last as long as the puff count. It's a case of simple maths. If your pen allows for 600 puffs, and you vape 6 times a day at 10 puffs each time, you can expect that device to last you 10 days. Sometimes people don't keep accurate count of their puffs, or take such large inhales that it's more like 3 puffs in one. This can skew the way you experience vaping and mislead you into thinking you're running out too quickly. In terms of refillable vape kits, you can expect a 10ml bottle of e-liquid to create 3000 puffs. Again, this is simple maths. If you vape 6 times a day at 10 puffs, then this bottle will last you just under 2 months. Your mod/pod kit itself should stand the test of time so long as you treat it well. This means changing the coil regularly, keeping it in a safe space, cleaning it, not allowing it to clog and giving it the correct vape juice. Why and When Do Vapes Run Out?   If you are using a refillable mod/pod vape, the most common reason they stop working is because the e-liquid cartridge has run out. This is a very easy-to-fix problem. Simple have on hand a good collection of e-liquids, check your tank regularly and ensure you are topped up. There are, however, some mechanical faults that can cause your vape pen to run out more rapidly than usual, or stop working altogether. 1. Your PG level is too high for your vape kit If you have a high PG level vape liquid, then the consistency can cause vaporisation of the atomiser head, meaning you're going to burn the liquid too quickly. Try swapping to a 50/50 PG VG e-liquid to reduce the risk of this problem. 2. Your vape is leaking. You might think you'd notice this, but leaking can be very subtle. You can lose a lot of liquid this way. Make sure your tank is screwed in properly and that the device never feels moist or slippery. 3. You have a faulty battery. If you have ruled out every other option and know that you aren't vaping more than usual, it could be that the device battery is broken. 4. If you are keeping your vape kit in your pocket, it could be that you are accidentally leaning on the 'on' button, causing the device to heat the coil as you are walking around. This will lead to burning away the e-liquid without you puffing from it and it's something you might be completely unaware of. Making Disposables Last Longer Disposable vaping is currently an increasingly popular choice. Why? Because it's easy, less fiddly, great for beginners and there's tons of variety when it comes to flavour and nicotine strength. You can read more about disposable vaping here. Every disposable vape pen comes with a puff count. This means the number of times you can inhale and exhale using this vape pen before it runs out. Make sure that you pick a disposable that is going to cater to your vaping needs. If you like to vape a lot, perhaps because you used to be a heavy smokers and have made the switch to vaping, then ensure your kit has a high puff count. This will help the vape to last longer. Also, be conscious of how forceful your inhale is. If you are taking enormous drags to try and produce bigger clouds, you might take up 3 puffs in one, reducing the overall number of puffs you have. Instead of doing this, consider choosing a disposable with a high VG level, as this will produce bigger clouds without the need for over-inhale. You can also make your disposable vape last longer by only using it when you would have normally had a cigarette. Given that you can legally vape inside, it's much more tempting to get your vape pen out while at your desk, or eating your lunch in a cafe, or playing with your kids. But if you are an ex-smoker, you would not have used a cigarette that frequently. Try to mimic your cigarette breaks using your vape pen, to ensure you don't get carried away and burn through them too quickly. You should also make sure you choose a reputable brand. There are many counterfeit vape pens on the market. Some of which are very convincing. But you can soon pay a big price for a counterfeit product, as they can break or run out more rapidly. The puff counts may not have been tested and you might think you're getting 600 where in actual fact you're getting half of that. Buying from a reputable supplier like Drala vape can solve this problem for you. We produce only the highest quality disposable e-cigarette kits to ensure you are completely satisfied with your e-cigarette kit. Check out our vape range and get in touch if you have any questions.

What's the difference between e-cigarettes and paper cigarettes?

01 The difference between e-cigarettes and real smoke - the difference between appearance Cigarettes: the appearance and structure are basically the same. They are both traditional cigarettes with a cigarette tip. The only difference is that the size, thickness and colour of the cigarette varies somewhat from brand to brand. E-cigarettes: all shapes, sizes and brands of e-cigarettes are different in terms of performance and appearance, but there is always one you want.    02 The difference between e-cigarettes and real smoke - the difference in how they work Cigarettes: burn tobacco at 800 to 1000 degrees Celsius to produce smoke and release substances such as tar and nicotine. E-cigarettes: The heat is supplied to the heater wire of the atomiser through the main unit and the heat evaporates inside the atomiser core to produce smoke and release substances such as nicotine and flavourings (you can also choose a nicotine-free e-cigarette).     03 The difference between e-cigarettes and real smoke - the difference between the ingredients Cigarettes: After burning, tobacco produces tar, nicotine, phenols, alcohols, acids, aldehydes and more than 4000 toxic substances that are harmful to the human body. E-cigarettes: The main components of the e-liquid in e-cigarettes are: PG (propylene glycol) VG (vegetable glycerine, also known as glycerine), other flavourings, nicotine (optional addition), water These substances are basically harmless to the human body except for nicotine.     04 The difference between e-cigarettes and real smoke - the difference between the methods of use Cigarette: Light the tobacco directly and start smoking after it has started to burn. E-cigarette: add e-liquid to the e-cigarette atomiser and wait a few minutes for the e-liquid to fully penetrate the core of the atomiser, turn on the e-cigarette main unit and press and hold the e-cigarette ignition button on the main unit to smoke, if it is a replacement e-cigarette insert the cartridge directly and vape.     05 The difference between e-cigarettes and real smoke - the difference between smoke Cigarettes: Cigarettes produce solid particles of smoke by burning, which contain nearly 4,000 chemicals such as carbon monoxide and nicotine, most of which are harmful to humans. Different brands of cigarettes have different concentrations of nicotine and slightly different colours of smoke, and the large particles of smoke can cause irreversible damage to the lungs. E-cigarettes: The smoke from an e-cigarette is actually water vapour. The colour of the smoke is milky white and the water content of the smoke is relatively high. This can be clearly felt from the smoke on the nose. Also the smoke particles of e-cigarettes are very small.     06 The difference between e-cigarettes and real smoke - the difference between flavours Cigarettes: Cigarettes have a simple flavour, basically tobacco, with some cigarettes having menthol. E-cigarettes: E-cigarettes have a richer and more eccentric flavour profile and fall into three broad categories: fruit flavours, tobacco flavours and drink flavours, of which there are thousands.     07 The difference between e-cigarettes and actual smoke - the difference between cost Cigarettes: The unit price of cigarettes varies. The price of a pack of low-end cigarettes is a few RMB, ranging from RMB 10 to 30 for low-end cigarettes to RMB 100 for mid-range to high-end cigarettes for the end of cigarettes. There are thousands of sticks of expensive cigarettes. Prices are different, everyone smokes differently and the cost of use fluctuates relatively widely. E-cigarettes: The cost of an e-cigarette is mostly the cost of the e-liquid except for the initial purchase of the equipment which costs a few hundred dollars, but the average cost should be no more than the cost of a cigarette.     08 The difference between e-cigarettes and real smoke - The difference between second-hand smoke Cigarettes: After burning cigarettes and butts, the second-hand smoke exhaled has a strong, irritating smell and contains many harmful substances, which can be extremely harmful to people around you. E-cigarettes: The smoke produced by e-cigarettes is very large, but it spreads quickly and the e-cigarette smoke contains fruit and other aromas that do not affect other people.

What exactly are the nicotine salts in e-cigarettes?

We are all familiar with nicotine, the main cause of cigarette addiction.   But what exactly is nicotine salts, a word that often appears in e-cigarettes? And how is it different from nicotine?     1.What are nicotine salts?   Nicotine salts are the form of nicotine found in tobacco. Unlike the nicotine usually used in e-cigarette oils, these salts are not just nicotine; they are compounds containing nicotine and other organic components.   It may be combined with one or more of the chemicals in the tobacco, but the result is the same - a more stable molecule is formed.       2.What is the significance of the advent of nicotine?   The biggest significance of nicotine salts is that they solve the problem of nicotine delivery efficiency. Ordinary 'free base nicotine' vape oils are not ideal in trying to increase the nicotine input to the bloodstream from an e-cigarette device, so it is difficult for e-cigarette users to get the same satisfaction as smoking, and the excessive nicotine content only stops at over-stimulating the throat, effectively reaching only a Only a very small percentage of the bloodstream has a real need for nicotine in an effective time.   The high nicotine content of the vape oil also reduces the user experience of the e-cigarette.     Nicotine salts are more penetrating than "free base nicotine", increasing the level of nicotine that can penetrate into the bloodstream in the same amount of time, and therefore providing a solution that is close to the absorption of real nicotine into the bloodstream, without over-stimulating the throat.     3.Why do most small cigarettes currently use nicotine salts as their vape oil?   ▲ Quicker to get more nicotine, it generally makes it easier for you to meet your own nicotine needs than regular vaping oils.   ▲ More fuel efficient, nicotine salt vape oil will allow you to use less vape oil to meet your projected nicotine intake.   ▲ Longer shelf life, nicotine salts are more stable than free base nicotine, which means that nicotine salt stock will last longer in storage without nicotine degradation. In contrast, nicotine salts are more easily absorbed and excreted than nicotine and have less impact on the body.   ▲ Higher satisfaction, nicotine salt is smoother in the mouth, its own colour and flavour are light and do not affect the taste reproduction of tobacco, fruit, etc. The smooth taste enhances the user's experience and satisfaction.   (Smoking is harmful to health, quit smoking as early as possible to enjoy a healthy life!)
